Why do you have three churches?
The Catholic parishes of the city of Manitowoc consolidated in 2005. There is now one Catholic parish, with three church sites located in each part of the city. Click here for our parish history.
What are the parish office hours?
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM,
Can I drop off correspondence/payments after hours?
Yes, there is a secured drop box located at the entrance of the parish office.
How much do I have to pay for church dues/stewardship?
There are no set amounts of dues required, parishioners give what they are able to.
When is Scrip sold at the main office?
Scrip sale hours are:
Monday: walk-in sales 8-12:30, Tuesday: Closed,
Wednesday: Walk-in sales 8-12:30 & middle/elementary school orders, 5:30 pm - 7pm Walk-in sales
Thursday: Closed, Friday: Walk-in sales 8-12:30

Are the church sites open during the day for prayer? The Grand church site (1416 Grand Avenue) is open for prayer during the day.
How do I set up an appointment with a priest?
All priests set up their own appointments, call the parish office and ask for the priest you would like to meet with to set up a time with them.
What is the cost of a Mass?
The Mass stipend is $10.

What is your mailing address/can I send mail to the church sites?
The parish has one mailing address, which is at our main office, 601 North 8th Street, Manitowoc, WI 54220. All priests and employees have a mailbox at the office. There are no mail receptacles at the church sites.

How do I submit something for the bulletin?
Written bulletin submissions can be mailed or dropped off at the parish office. Electronic submissions are preferred and can be sent to: [email protected] All bulletin submissions need to be received at the parish office two weeks prior to publication date.
When are Confessions?

How do I schedule a Baptism?
This is our first child, what do we need to do? Baptisms are held throughout the year, except during the season of Lent. First-time parents are required to attend a Baptismal Preparation class. This is a one-time class, held at the parish office on the second Sunday of each month. Call the parish office for more details and to register for the preparation class.
Can I get a prayer shawl for someone who is not a parish member or Catholic? Yes, prayer shawls are available for anyone in need of one. There is no cost. They are available at the parish office during business hours.

Where is Religious Education held and when?
Classes for grades 1-5 are held from September – May at our Grand Avenue site.
What is EDGE and Lifeteen?
EDGE is religious education for grades 6-8 and is held from September – May at the LifeTeen house. LifeTeen is the combination of youth ministry and high school faith formation for our parish. Life Nights are held on Sunday evenings September - May.

When do children make First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation?
First Reconciliation takes place during 2nd grade, and is held in the month of January. First Eucharist is takes place during 2nd grade, and is held in spring. Confirmation takes place Junior year of high school in the spring. Please call the parish office for more information.
I am an adult and have not received first Eucharist/Reconciliation/Confirmation.
Can I still do this and what are steps?
Yes, there are adult classes available. Please contact the parish office for more information.
