A Note From Fr. Jason & Dcn.Mark LeGreve 11/15/20:

“It is not enough to say we are Christians.
We must live the faith, not only with our words
but with our actions.” - Pope Francis, 2014
Dear Parishioners,
As members of this parish, we are so proud of the way we respond to and care for those in need. Parishioners
have reached out and checked in on families to see how they are doing. We have provided opportunities to serve
in greater ways and this has been a wonderful blessing to those families in need. Just as Pope Francis challenges
us in the quote above, Jesus challenges us to do more--to live our lives as stewards. We are encouraged as
Catholics to be good stewards and to share our blessings with others.
Stewardship is expressed through our actions. It is providing for those in need, educating our children in the faith,
worshipping at Holy Mass, praying at home, and sharing our financial gifts. As Christian stewards everything is
given to us by God, and we must share these gifts with others. It is through our sharing that we have the
opportunity to introduce Jesus to those we encounter.
This is “Stewardship Weekend” here in the parish. This is our time for self-reflection on our prayer habits, our
serving of others, and our sharing with God.
Would you complete a “Call and Commitment” sheet and place it in a prominent place in your home for an
ongoing reminder of your commitment?
As a community following Jesus, we thank you for your follow through and commitment.
