Advent Giving and Sharing
2020 has been a year of making adjustments in every area of our lives. The Advent Giving and Sharing is not exempt from that. As in everything else, we must make some changes and adjustments to the Annual Advent Giving focusing on the joy of giving and emphasizing caution and concern for the well being of others.
This year’s Advent Giving and Sharing will be limited to Gift Card gifts only. This will provide gifts for members of our community while at the same time limiting the risk of germs and contamination.
Please plan to support our local communities by participating in the Advent Giving and Sharing. There are several opportunities for you to help bring joy to the less fortunate:
- Monetary donations will be accepted which will then be converted to gift cards
- Consider adding some extra gift cards to your next Scrip order for the Advent Giving
- Purchase gift cards (Scrip) from the list provided and leave them at the parish office or drop in the gift wrapped boxes in the churches main entrances.
- Please help to make someone’s Christmas brighter with your gift of $25 gift cards from Walmart, Fleet, Farm, Kohls, Meijer, Target, TJ Maxx and Amazon
- Donations can be dropped off thru November 30th at the Parish Office or into the Christmas Gift box at the main church entrance at each church site
Many people from these communities will benefit from your generosity: Salvation Army, Ascend Services, Early Headstart, Manitowoc Health & Rehab, The Crossing, InCourage, Shady Lane, Rivers Bend, St Mary Home/Felician Village, and Kindred Hearts at Northridge.
