8:30am – Gather & Blessing of Service Teams in Church 9:00am-12:00pm – SERVE @ sites around the city 12:00-1:30pm – Fellowship Cookout @ Waldo Site

The words of Jesus remind us that “Whatsoever we do for the least of these, you do for me.”

– Mt 25:40

Our faith calls us to not only believe and worship, but to SERVE each other in love, especially those in great need.  Our community has many needs and we want to engage as many people as possible to BE THE CHANGE by giving of their time, modeling service with their families, helping at the job sites we have lined up or reaching out to a neighbor or someone in your own life that could use your assistance.  It is our ardent hope that this day of service will be a springboard to mobilize greater numbers of people to engage in more regular service within our community.  Life is busy and full of distractions – we are hoping that this opportunity will give us a chance to remember the importance of being available to give of ourselves to those we may not even know.

A wide variety of service opportunities are available at many sites around the city.  Whatever age or ability you are, there is a way for YOU to help!  We specifically designed some jobs for families to be able to involve their children so that we can TEACH how important it is to serve the community.
